Helena is an Arts and Humanities Research Council-funded PhD candidate in Anthropology at University College London. Helena’s current research sits at the interface of linguistic anthropology and performance studies, drawing on her linguistic background as well as her own performance practice.
Prior to training as an anthropologist at the University of Cambridge (M.Phil), Helena read Modern and Medieval Languages at Trinity College, Cambridge (BA), specializing in Italian linguistics and literature.
Helena has wide experience in professional environments, including in the fields of credit management, advertising and education. Alongside her academic studies and business experience, Helena has been involved in a variety of artistic projects in drama and dance.
Helena has collaborated closely with SHM since 2015, bringing with her a fascination for interpersonal and cross-cultural dynamics. Her focus at SHM is on facilitation.
Helena has a working proficiency in a variety of European languages, including French, Italian, Spanish and Greek.
